Enforcing existing laws, such as public intoxication, drug possession,\ndisorderly conduct, camping in public, trespassing, indecent exposure, and\nother applicable codes, to address safety concerns and support appropriate\nintervention when violations occur;\n5. Utilizing recent changes made to State law to address repeated theft and\ndrug possession and to create leverage for court-ordered treatment for\neligible repeat offenders;\n6. Integrating any additional local, county, or state intervention tools and\ndiversion programs identified by City staff as effective in achieving\nstabilization and preserving public safety;\nRequest City Manager return to City Council with a public reporting strategy for\ntreatment placements, SB 43-related applications submitted, CARE Court data as\navailable, diversion placements, and felony drug possession arrests.
