CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY (OTS) SELECTIVE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM (STEP) GRANT – FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Adopting a Resolution authorizing the Interim City Manager, or designee, to apply for, accept, and execute any documents, in a form approved by the City Attorney, with the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) in the amount of $178,000 for the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Grant; (2) If adopted, the Resolution would also authorize the Interim City Manager, or designee, to receive and amend the FY 2023-2024 budget to allocate $178,000 in grant funds; and (3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
