28. APPROVE A BLANKET PURCHASE ORDER WITH RUSH TRUCK CENTERS OF TEXAS, LP AND SOCAL AUTO & TRUCK PARTS, INC., FOR MAINTENANCE-RELATED BUS AND VEHICLE FLEET PARTS RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Approve a blanket purchase order (PO) with Rush Truck Centers of Texas, LP, dba Rush Truck Enterprises (Rush Trucking), for a total not-to-exceed amount of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000) to purchase maintenance-related bus and vehicle fleet parts for Fiscal Year 2024-25; and 2. Approve a blanket PO with SoCal Auto & Truck Parts, Inc. (dba Napa Auto Parts), for a total not-to- exceed amount of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000) to purchase maintenance-related bus and vehicle fleet parts for Fiscal Year 2024-25; and 3. Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
