4) CONSIDERATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDING FROM CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT PROGRAM It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions: 1. Accept grant funding from the California Governor's Office of Emergency Service (Cal OES) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program in the amount of $209,950; 2. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute grant agreements with Cal OES and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in such form as approved by the City Attorney; 3. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate any amendments to the agreements in such form approved by the City Attorney; and 4. Approve the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 2024-57 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR, COMMENCING JULY 1, 2024 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2025 (CAL OES AND FEMA HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT)
