7. Approval of the Public Works Vehicle Purchase – 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 with Utility Body Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Award a Purchase Contract to Thorson Motor Center for one 2024 GMC Sierra Extended Cab 4x2 Truck with Utility Body in the amount of $68,668.69; and 2. Appropriate $68,700 from General Fund Reserves to 01-9100-8402 for the purchase of the vehicle; and 3. Authorize the City Manager to sign a Purchase Contract on behalf of the City in such final form as approved by the City Attorney; and 4. Authorize staff to issue a Purchase Order to Thorson Motor Center in the amount of $68,668.69
