3-C. WAIVE FURTHER READING AND ADOPT ZONE CHANGE (ZA-24-03), AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR CERTAIN PROPERTIES FOR CONSISTENCY WITH THE GENERAL PLAN, LAND USE AND URBAN DESIGN ELEMENT. It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Waiving the second reading and adopting the proposed ordinances; and (2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable. 3-D ACCEPTANCE OF SGVMWD GRANT FOR IRRIGATION CONTROL SYSTEMS It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Accepting and allocating grant funding in the amount of $50,000 from the San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District (“SGVMWD”) for Irrigation Control Systems; (2) Authorizing the City Manager to execute the Grant Agreement, in a form approved by the City Attorney, with SGVMWD for this grant program; (3) Authorizing the Finance Department to appropriate $50,000 in funding from the FY 2024- 2025 budget; and (4) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
