9. PRESENTATION OF STATUS OF VACANCIES AND RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION EFFORTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 3502.3 RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Conduct a public hearing to present the status of vacancies and recruitment and retention efforts in accordance with Government Code section 3502.3; and 2. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
