19. ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 25-40 AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF MONTEBELLO TO APPLY FOR FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION (FTA) FUNDING UNDER THE LOW OR NO EMISSION GRANT PROGRAM AND THE GRANTS FOR BUSES AND BUS FACILITIES PROGRAM TO SUPPORT MONTEBELLO BUS LINES’ ZERO-EMISSION BUS FACILITIES AND FLEET TRANSITION PLAN RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Adopt Resolution No. 25-40 authorizing the City of Montebello to apply for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding under (i) the Low or No Emission Grant Program (Low-No Program) and (ii) the Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Program (Bus and Bus Facilities Program) [collectively, hereinafter the “Grants”], in the amount of $18,653,940; and 2. Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
