14. AUTHORIZATION TO APPROVE THE DELEGATED MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (CALTRANS) RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Determine that the execution of the Delegated Maintenance Agreement shall be categorically exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Section 15308 of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations; and 2. Approve the Delegated Maintenance Agreement (“Agreement”) between the City of Montebello and the State of California Department of Transportation (“Caltrans”) which identifies specific mission-critical maintenance services to be performed on and around the State right of way within the City’s jurisdictional limits; and \ 3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Agreement and related documents, including any amendments thereto, and to take any and all actions necessary to implement and administer the Agreement; and 4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
