11) CONSIDERATION OF AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE SPECIALIZED FLEET VEHICLE: DUMP TRUCK It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Authorize the purchase of one (1) Dump Truck for the Public Works Department's Fleet Services Division from WC Performance Ford, the lowest responsible bidder, in an amount not to exceed $100,000. 2. Authorize the Acting City Manager to execute the purchase order and/or agreement required for the purchase. 3. In the event the Dump Truck is no longer available from WC Performance Ford at the time of purchase, authorize the Acting City Manager to purchase the Dump Truck from another vendor that submitted a bid or purchase a comparable vehicle meeting the City's specifications, provided the purchase price shall not exceed $100,000.
