20. CONSIDERATION TO DISCUSS AND PROVIDE DIRECTION RELATED TO THE PROGRAM STRUCTURE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE SOUTH PASADENA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE THROUGH THE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT TAX FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027 Recommendation It is recommended that the City Council receive this report and provide direction to staff on the preferred structure for the FY 2026-27 Business Improvement Tax (BIT) program including: a) The scope of economic development events and services to be funded; and b) The framework for a revised agreement with the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce for consideration at the June 2026 City Council meeting.
