14. Landscape Maintenance Agreements for Citywide Tree Maintenance and On- call Emergency Tree Services within Landscape Lighting Act Districts No. 22, 24, 27, and 32 Recommendation: 1. Award a five-year Landscape Maintenance Agreement to Newbury Park Tree Service (NPT) for citywide tree maintenance in an amount not to exceed $1,643,262, with the option for two (2) additional two-year extensions, resulting in a potential contract term of nine (9) years in an amount not to exceed $3,144,406; and 2. Award a five-year Landscape Maintenance Agreement to United Pacific Services, Inc. (UPS), for citywide tree maintenance in an amount not to exceed $3,050,708 with the option for two (2) additional two-year extensions, resulting in a potential contract term of nine (9) years in amount not to exceed $5,837,573; and 3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the subsequent two contract extensions of two (2) years each.
