11. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 6 TO THE AGREEMENT FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES WITH PRINCIPAL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR ADMINISTRATION OF THE CITY OF CARSON SELF-INSURED DENTAL PLAN AGREEMENT, EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES BY TWO MONTHS (CITY COUNCIL) RECOMMENDED ACTION — 1. APPROVE Amendment No. 6 to the Agreement for Administrative Services with Principal Life Insurance Company, thereby extending the term of the Agreement from November 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, at the existing applicable fee rates; and, — 2. AUTHORIZE an additional $12,000 in funding to cover anticipated administrative service fees and remaining monthly billing through the end of the extended contract term pursuant to Amendment No. 6; and, — 3. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute Amendment No. 6, following City Attorney approval as to form.
