(65) 25-0002-S138 CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION (HUTT - BLUMENFIELD) relative to establishing the City's position on Assembly Bill (AB) 1740 (Zbur), which would facilitate certification of the City of Santa Monica's local coastal program so it can be the approver for Coastal Development Permits. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Hutt - Blumenfield), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City’s 2025-26 State Legislative Program SUPPORT for AB 1740 (Zbur), which would ensure that by the adoption of the City of Santa Monica’s local coastal program, they will be the approver of Coastal Development Permits for their jurisdiction. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the Chief Legislative Analyst. The City Administrative Officer has not completed a financial analysis of this report.
