65. Settlement of the Matter Entitled, Nathaniel Riley v. County of Los Angeles, et al. Los Angeles County Claims Board's recommendation: Authorize settlement of the matter entitled, Nathaniel Riley v. County of Los Angeles, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 18STCV06789, in the amount of $112,000; and instruct the Auditor-Controller to draw a warrant to implement this settlement from the Sheriff's Department's budget. This wrongful death lawsuit against the Sheriff's Department arises out of the in-custody death of Plaintiff's mother. (26-5903)
