(8) 25-0002-S142 RULES, ELECTIONS AND INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMITTEE REPORT and RESOLUTION relative to establishing the City’s position on Assembly Bill (AB) 2635 (Rodriguez), which would make commercial voucher or rebate programs available to gardeners, landscapers, and small-equipment operators. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Resolution (Hernandez - Padilla), SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City’s 2025-26 State Legislative Program SUPPORT for AB 2635 (Rodriguez), which would require, to the extent funding is appropriated, each large and medium air pollution control and air quality management district, and small rural districts or local governments, to offer commercial vouchers for zero-emission small-off-road equipment. Fiscal Impact Statement: None submitted by the Chief Legislative Analyst. The City Administrative Officer has not completed a financial analysis of this report.
