3-I. 2023-24 STREET REHABILITATION AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS PROJECT – AWARD OF CONTRACT It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute a public works contract, in a form approved by the City Attorney, with All American Asphalt of Corona, CA in the contract amount of $1,625,000 for the 2023-24 Street Rehabilitation at Various Locations Project; (2) Authorizing the Director of Public Works to approve change orders and contingency up to $243,750, or 15% of the contract amount; and (3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable. CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act): Since the proposed work is a minor alteration to an existing public facility, this project is Class 1 Categorically Exempt pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
