3-E. CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE OPEN MARKET BOND REPURCHASE OF A PORTION OF THE CITY OF MONTEREY PARK OUTSTANDING TAXABLE PENSION OBLIGATION BONDS, SERIES 2021 It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Adopting a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Monterey Park: a. authorizing the Open Market Bond Repurchase of a Portion of its Outstanding Taxable Pension Obligation Bonds, Series 2021; b. approving a Repurchase Agent and authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement, in a form approved by the City Attorney, with Samuel A. Ramirez & Co., Inc.; and c. authorizing certain additional actions in connection therewith. (2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
