Los Angeles County Claims Board's recommendation: Authorize settlement of the matter entitled, Valeria Guaman, a minor, et al. v. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 21STCV36635, in the amount of $690,000; and instruct the Auditor-Controller to draw a warrant to implement this settlement from the Sheriff's Department's budget. This lawsuit arises from alleged injuries Plaintiffs sustained in a traffic collision involving a Sheriff's Department deputy. (26-5902)
