(6) 26-1374 CD 8 TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE REPORT relative to traffic safety in and around the intersection of 60th Street and 10th Avenue. Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Harris- Dawson - Hutt): INSTRUCT the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, working with the City Administrative Officer (CAO), to report within 14 days with the following: a. A traffic safety assessment of the intersection of 60th Street and 10th Avenue, as well as the residential segment along 60th Street adjacent to the intersection b. Options for appropriate permanent and/or temporary traffic calming measures at the intersection of 60th Street and 10th Avenue, including but not limited to: i. Increased signage ii. Updated striping iii. Speed humps c. The identification of potential funding options for any of the identified traffic calming measures. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
