Terminate the Sub-Sublease Agreement between ASC-Anaheim, LLC and the former Anaheim\nRedevelopment Agency dated March 1, 2011 due to nonpayment of rent and failure to perform\npursuant to the agreement; authorize the City Manager, or designee, to provide notice of\ntermination to ASC-Anaheim, LLC; authorize the City Attorney to pursue all remedies available\nunder the law including, but not limited to, commencing unlawful detainer proceedings as\nnecessary to regain possession of the property, in the event that ASC-Anaheim, LLC fails to\nsurrender and vacate the property and improvements pursuant to the terms of the Sub-\nSublease after the City’s issuance of the Notice of Termination (property at Claudina Way north\nof Interstate 5 and east of South Anaheim Boulevard).

Approve the submission of the Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention Program grant\napplication and attachments to the California Interagency Council on Homelessness; authorize\nthe Housing and Community Development Director, or designee, to modify the application and\nattachments as needed, provided that such modifications do not materially change the purpose\nor scope of the submission; increase the Housing and Community Development Department’s\nFiscal Year 2022/23 revenue and expenditures budget to be commensurate with the grant\naward, if awarded; and authorize the Housing and Community Development Director, or\ndesignee, to accept the grant, execute required grant documents, and take the necessary\nactions to implement grant activities.

Accept the bid of CDCE, Inc., in the amount of $273,513 plus applicable tax, for the purchase of\nPanasonic Toughbook laptops, related hardware, and multiyear protection plans to replace\nexisting ruggedized laptops and hardware for the Anaheim Public Utilities Department, in\naccordance with Bid #9630.

Accept the bid from Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc., in the amount of $98,426 plus applicable taxes and\na 20% contingency, to provide as-needed liquid oxygen for a one year period with up to four\none-year optional renewals; and authorize the Purchasing Agent to exercise the renewal\noptions in accordance with Bid #9640.

Waive Council Policy 4.1 and approve an agreement with Kim Turner, LLC, in an amount not to\nexceed $72,000, for leadership training services; and authorize the Chief of Police, or\ndesignee, to administer the agreement on and execute any amendments under the terms and\nconditions of the agreement.

RESOLUTION NO. _____________ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY\nOF ANAHEIM ratifying and approving the actions of the Anaheim Director of Community\nServices, or designee, in submitting a grant application on behalf of the City of Anaheim to the\nU.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Economic Development Initiative\nfor the La Palma Park Soccer Fields Project and, authorizing the acceptance of such grant on\nbehalf of the City; and, determine that these actions are exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Guideline Section 15306 (grant funds in the\namount of $2,000,000).\nIncrease the Community Services Department’s Fiscal Year 2022/23 Capital Improvement\nProgram revenue and expenditure budget by $2,000,000.
